A rundown of what we're doing,
watching, reading, coveting.
Here's what's got our attention this week.
Hi friends!

Liz here while Lizzy is out on maternity leave. What a week. Again!

  • As parents with kids at home, I know we’ve all been bombarded with online resources, but I’ve found this comprehensive resource guide to parenting during COVID to be the most thorough, varied and helpful. It’s got recommendations for You Tube channels, podcasts, activities, ways to get involved in your community, and more. Such a welcomed all-in-one-place vetted resource.

  • I’m hooked on all of Karen Mordechai of @sundaysuppers recipe posts right now. “Simple recipes with ingredients you have on hand.” And she’ll throw in the “use whatever randomness you have in the fridge” - which is really my love language for meal prep always, but especially right now. These sesame + maple glazed carrots were incredible, and we all loved this cheesy baked pasta. Next up are this lemon chicken and this quick weeknight curry

  • I’ve started a daily ritual of writing notes to friends + family and just ordered this super colorful stationery, named A Note of Many Colors, inspired by Dolly Parton’s A Coat of Many Colors–couldn’t be more perfect for my insatiable thirst for bright + bold color right now AND the fact that Dolly makes everything better. Just the idea of this cheery envelope in a friend’s mailbox makes me happy. Cheree Berry also has these adorable door tags called Neighborly Notes for kids to fill in + leave for neighbors. 25% of those sales will go towards her local food bank.

  • For My Daughter On A Bad Day. I love Kate Baer’s writing so much.

Hope you’re all hanging in there. Be safe, stay well. (AHHHHH!) -- Just kidding. Mostly. Sending you all a big hug. See you back here next week.

xoxo,

Liz
