Have you heard of the app Goody? It’s a new gifting app that makes sending + receiving a gift so easy that it feels like magic. Goody curates a selection of gifts from companies they choose to work with, so the offering is beautiful and not crazy overwhelming. As the gifter, you choose what you want to send, put in your recipient's name + cell, and they get a text. They have the option of accepting the gift you chose OR swapping it for something else. I was gifted Brightland olive oil, put in my address, sent a little thank you note within the app and my new pretty olive oil showed up two days later. It was pretty fun to know it was coming--to anticipate it, think about the person who sent it + thank them as I got it (!) and then to have it arrive–lots of touch points of connection, thought + consideration. It’s kind of blowing my mind. And! We are thrilled that they asked us to partner with them in their new Baby category that just launched this week! Check out everything they offer here.

Did you see our cute new Echinacea pouches, and the XL pouch with the dusty pink zipper ? I’m in love with the set + the XL, and these pouches help me on the go all year round. On any given car trip, even if it’s for one afternoon, you can probably find 5 pouches in my bag !! In summer there is usually sunscreen in one, snacks in another, my own essentials in another (mask, chapstick, keys, sanitizer), and diapers, wipes, sun hats and extra clothes in an XL. If we’re gone for a while, there is probably another with small toys. You can never have too many!

If you didn’t click through to our fundraiser raffle for Food For Life Vrindavan, please consider doing it now! They are an amazing organization that really moved me when I was able to visit them about 10 years ago. They are always working hard to educate, employ, and feed Vrindavan--a rural area outside of Delhi, that is also a holy pilgrimage destination for Hindus. Now more than ever they could use our support, and such a tiny amount of money goes such a long way towards feeding families. This area in particular holds a special place in my heart and it is breaking, as I’m sure yours is, for the catastrophic devastation happening. If you’ve ever experienced the sheer density of people in India (rural and urban areas alike), you know how difficult this will be to slow down.

Sidewalk Chalk always entertains my kids, but last weekend a mom brought sidewalk chalk PAINT to our back shared driveway space, and all of the kids went bananas. I’ll definitely be coming back to this all summer long!
