  • Over Thanksgiving, my sister couldn’t believe how many times I’d warm up my coffee. I like it hot, and, apparently, it takes me a while to get through it. Adding this to the top of my Christmas list! No proprietary mug, though, please! I love my ceramic mugs and am excited to keep it hot with this, all morning long!

  • We usually do the Lego advent calendar, but this year I decided to change it up and purchased this pretty caddy style one. Now I have to fill it! I saw that Erin from Reading My Tea Leaves fills hers with “festive activities more than gifties” which I love. She has some great kid-friendly peace + justice activities that I’ll be pulling from, like choosing some outgrown winter clothes to donate, offering special thanks at dinner. There will be plenty of festive activities, as well, like a hot cocoa party, watch Elf (for the 1000th time), make a holiday cards for a neighbor. I hope they get into it as much as I already am!

  • I love having a few seasonal books to read to the kids, whether it’s about a holiday, history or season. This year, I’m excited to add this one into the mix. I love Rebecca’s illustrations so much. Such a great pairing for this treasured holiday tale.

  • Looking for gift inspo? We recently posted everything we’re gifting friends + family this year in our Guide to Gifting, as well as all our entire 2021 Gift Guide. Still stuck? DM us @lewisishome or email us liz@lewisishome.com + we’ll try to help!

    • Countdown to Christmas is on ! I’ve been squirreling away gifts for the kids, but now I have everyone else on my list. This weekend at my in-laws India and Major were infatuated with this Bird Song Bible, and I think it’s the perfect gift for my nephews.

    • I keep ordering more from our site as I remember all the gifts I need to give… For little ones I’m loving our Joyful Trees Jammies, and for some a cozy sweatsuit to keep them warm all winter long.

    • I cried when I read the statement by Virgil Abloh’s family on his instagram account this weekend. His age, his talent, his barrier breaking, his family. It is all too tragic to think about. What a loss for this whole planet. I’ve been so struck over the last few days seeing my feed flooded with his image, and reading about what a generous, kind, uplifting friend he was to all around him. Such a moment to reflect on how we show up in this world. May his humanity be always celebrated alongside his creative vision and genius, and may he rest in peace.

    • Adding this sweet blouse to my list for Santa. I love the double collar, how easy it is to dress up or down, and how seasonless it is.
