Back when I had my own stationery line, I made annual calendars every year for 10 years, and it was by far my favorite thing to create. Most were letterpress calendars, but some years I’d change it up. One year, the bottom part could be used as post cards, another year, you could use each month it as gift wrap, and one year I even made a collossal screen printed quilt calendar that could be cut + framed. With my calendar creating days behind me, I’m looking to bring something useful + beautiful into our home, and I’m eyeing the always-gorgeous Dolfin Studio Calendar. Do you know of it? It’s been designed + hand screen printed by one family in Massachusetts for years. Each month is entirely different from the next and always delightful. I love seeing the hand at play in all design, and you really see it here in both the artwork + the production. A beautiful piece + gift if you’re looking.

Over the holiday break, I slogged through the end of the final season of The Affair. I thought it was okay and even not great at times, but I was in too deep not to keep going. Anyway, the song they play at the end of the last episode is so good. (I actually thought their music selection on the whole show was pretty good.) I had to share: Hole of the Moon by the Waterboys.

Our End of Season Sale is on! Once the sale is over, these things are gone and I have to say, I’m going to be sad when these navy Seaweed Pajamas are gone. Scoop them up for just $20 right now!

Our favorite new books after the holidays are The Boy The Mole The Fox and The Horse (very Winnie the Pooh!) and We Are Here : Notes for Living On Planet Earth. Both as so sweet they make me choke up a little bit (but Im also almost 7 months pregnant :) ).

I bought Josh tickets to see Freestyle Love Supreme on Broadway for Christmas and we went this week! The improv is truly jaw dropping - I don’t know how anyone is that creative or funny on the spot, much less freestyles their creative + funny thoughts to beatboxing (also incredibly talented) at an insane pace. It is sadly ending this coming week, but I have to believe this was just a short first run to prove its popularity. If it comes back to Broadway, or decides to travel to your city, run to see it!

India was given Rody as a birthday gift two months ago, and she and Major love bouncing around on him so much that we got one for her cousins for Christmas, and they love him too ! He inflates and deflates pretty easily, and they all think getting “bucked off” (falling over), is hilarious. I highly recommend it as a toddler age gift !
